Hashtag? This is Airazor. I wished to reach out to you to thank you for creating your movie night. It was very thoughtful of you to make something that brings people together. A good quality to have, in those I would like to get to know.

[there is a brief space filled with a soft shift of metal against metal as an unseen airazor fluffs her feathers as she considers how best to continue this conversation]

The movie selections you made, were they personal favorites of yours? I would be intrigued to hear the reasonings why, if so.

[Airazor? The cool bird-bot whose chirpy laughter filled the room when playing teeter tower? Who sounds like the most smooth and elegant mech she's ever met? Who looks like she could eat you or cover you in her massive wings depending on her mood? THAT Airazor?

Hashtag has been peeking looks at her all night during the movie marathon. She hadn't had the courage to just go talk to her, she stumbled over the idea every time. And now she is calling her! Her. Excuse her while she screams into a pillow on her pillow. For a long time. It's fine, it's great, no problem.

She finally gets herself together. Eventually.]

Hi! This is Hashtag--as you probably know. [Awkward laugh] Um, thank you, I'm so happy everyone loved the movie marathon, I want it to be a regular thing! Movies are amazing and I love all of them, and picking just four was so hard. We could have done a whole marathon just of Godzilla or Kung Fu Panda.

[Airazor, for her part, has been deliberating over how best to repay Hashtag for one of the most enjoyable evenings she'd had since the destruction of her home planet. She's glad she decided to, Hashtag's enthusiasm was very welcome.]

[She vents out a warm, rolling chuckle, her optics dimming in a smile.]

I hadn't seen the one with singing. It was quite good!

[A pause, as Airazor tips her head with a quiet little trilling noise that was a Maximal interrogative noise]

A question, if I may, Hashtag? I have spent enough time on Earth to witness the dawn of humanity's technology around me. I recall that your name is one of the newer words. Did you change it at any point, or are you younger than myself? I only ask because... [Another laugh] I might have additional movie recommendations. Do not ask me what the dialogue actually entails for most of them, however, I saw them from a distance.

Okay, but MS3King movies is amazing and everyone should do it at least once. A lot of movies are vastly improved by it. We can even make new movies out of it. I have seen like...thousands of movies already and have a lot of them in my tablet. We should have a MS3K marathon night...

[Is she slightly distracted by the idea and how to plan it out? Maybe. But she remembers that Airazor asked her about her name. Which was so cool of her. Everything is cool about her.]

But no, I didn't even know my name at first! When I was born, Mo and Robby helped us figure our names out--except Nightshade, they knew their name immediately. I only had the vibe of my name, but Robby knew what it meant!

[Is she implying she's actually very, very young...maybe.]

[Airazor shifts again, pleased that she's not coming across in a bad way. Sometimes she forgot how to talk to people and could get terse, she did not want that this time]

So movies are important to you, then? Not surprising, they communicate many things. What the creators want to say, and what the audience receiving it takes away from it. That is why I found your choices interesting, they say different things about what you enjoy, or thought that others would. [a wordless hum] Thank you, once again. I know that it can be stressful, being vulnerable in that way.

[Airaxir is not at all surprised about Hashtag's age. It had seemed much more polite to allow Hashtag to confirm or deny]

That is a wonderful way to discover your name. Optimus Primal and I discovered each other's names when we were new, as well, though I was, mm. Overruled by others about my choice. They wished for him to be named after Optimus Prime. What called to you about your own name?

[Hashtag is trying so hard to keep sounding cool but it's so hard when someone you admire shows genuine interest in the things you like. About things about you.]

My name just...was a feeling. Like saying Mood. When someone says something and it hits you because that's exactly how you feel. And you know it might be something someone else gets, too. So...like sharing your thoughts and mood and seeing who feels it too. But not just saying mood, it has to like...symbolize it without saying it. Kind of? If that makes any sense.

[She chuckles just a bit there, more awkward by the end than she was at the beginning as she realized her rambling maybe didn't explain anything at all.]

[Airazor tilts her head with a quick twitch, first one way and then the other. Her optics dim in her equivalent of a smile, which lingers in her voice when she speaks]

That is a beautiful way of putting it, Hashtag. Poetic, you could easily say. It makes me wonder at what other ways you choose to express yourself. Do you tend towards poetry, or... ah.

[A soft trill, a laugh of her kind] I see, now. Film. You make your own, don't you? If so, that is good. Wonderful. A way of distilling joy and heartbreak and connection into moments you can relive again and again, mmm? What a thing to treasure about you.

You...You really think so?

[She is trying so hard not to lose what little composure she has left in front of someone as cool and amazing as Airazor. She tries laughing to deflect, hoping she sounds more confident than she feels.]

But you're absolutely right! Film has a way of pulling at your soul--or spark-- over and over again. There's so much meaning that you can condense into any length with the right skills. I want to be able to do that. I'm still learning, but I'm gonna create a documentary about the bots on this ship and it's going to be timeless.

Get it, because time is so weird around here, hah.

I do think so. [Her voice is soft as ever, but fervent. Deliberate. When she chooses to speak, it is with intent, all the more so when it comes to encouraging someone so much younger than herself] The arts have admittedly always been rather far outside of my skillset, something to be seen and appreciated from afar like any beautiful phenomena. I consider it no small part of my oath to encourage pursuing them when possible.

[This last part earned another tilt of her head and a trill that might have been a laugh at the joke, or perhaps merely a thoughtful noise, it was difficult to tell with Airazor if you weren't accustomed to her various noises] What will be the theme of your documentary, do you think? Or are you discovering it through the act of creation?

The arts are how we express ourselves and our thoughts and feelings and how we relate to the world! Everything should take part, because it's all we'll learn to understand one another.

[Yes, Hashtag's personal philosophy is very focused on hos art--specifically cinema--brings people together, because it's what she wants most.]

I've had a lot of ideas for documentaries, but here I want to make one about how all of us, from all these different versions of the same worlds, can relate to each other. How we feel about being on the R2 and what it means to us that we're here instead of home.

Getting round-table talks from all the multiples is going to be hard but they'll be so important.

"Experiencing life on my home planet and then my found home of Earth was my art, I think. Every day, good or bad, was a brush stroke that added to a complex whole. I wonder what the end result has turned out to be."

[Airazor hums to provide time for herself to think before moving on]

"I do not have other versions of myself flitting about the hallways here that I know of, but if you need assistance either before or behind the camera, well." [Unseen, Airazor tilts her head with another quick flick, along with a low, warm chirrup that is another wordless smile] "It would be an honor."

Really?

[She says it softly but there is a bit of awe in her voice. She didn't expect this. How could she expect something this amazing?]

I would love to work with you on this! We could do so much and I want to get all the doubles together but some of them don't seem to like each other so we'd need a mediator. You'd be amazing!

[Airazor dips her head in a nod almost immediately. When she speaks, there is a warm smile in her voice]

Of course. Anything you would have of me is yours, including being a mediator.

Holding up equipment would be slightly difficult, but I would return to my root mode if need be. You have only to ask.

[This is not a thing she proposes lightly, but neither is it something she would be unwilling to do if Hashtag asks. She would attempt to pluck the stars from the sky, if Hashtag were to ask her to]

[Hashtag has been thinking of how amazing Airazor is for being so comfortable in her alt-mode all the time. Not even Nightshade stays in their owl-mode that much. It puts her in awe. She's so cool and beautiful, she probably looks even cooler as a robot.]

You would?

[She's going to lose her mind at this rate, it's more than she ever could have imagined.]

You are great just the way you are, but, uh, I mean--I'll let you know?

I would. You are an important part of the lives you touch, and deserve to have that care reflected back to you.

And take your time thinking it over. It is hardly a drastic issue that is required to be answered at this exact moment.

[Airazor lets out a soft, subvocal noise that Primal at least would recognize as a laugh]

[Considering she knows she can sometimes be a bit much, having an adult help planning things would keep her from going overboard.]

[If she could blush, Hashtag would be glowing right now.]
